Alaska Radio Reader Rambler: Suehyla El-Attar

Volcanic activity may have cut he trip short, but she still made it to Anchorage in time  to star in The Clean House at Cyrano’s. Suehyla El-Attar, who took tango lessons to train for the role plays Matilde, a Brazilian house maid who decides that she doesn’t like cleaning houses. What’s more important? Finding the perfect joke! A quirky and moving comedy about love, loss and the power of a good joke, The Clean House is now playing Cyrano’s in Anchorage through October 12.
