The APOC or any other entity won’t stop the corrupting influence of outside money crossing the country into the Stevens’ bank account. It is ironic that the gateway airport in the gateway city is named after the present gatekeeper.
It seems like when I was a kid public structures, forests, mountains and the like were named after famous people after they died, a honor and legacy for their service. It seems like now it has become the normal course to massage the egos of those in power with the likes of the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail and the Ted Stevens International Airport, can the Frank Murkowski Municipal Landfill be far off?
