Board of Directors

KSKA’s Board of Directors is actually the Alaska Public Telecommunications, Inc. (APTI) Board. APTI is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that operates KSKA as well as KAKM Public Television and the Alaska Public Radio Network (APRN).

Monthly Board meetings — open to the public — are held at the APTI offices monthly on the 4th Thursday of the month at 4:00 p.m.

Some additional annual business meetings are held each May just prior to the regular monthly meeting. These include meetings related to KSKA and KAKM general members, APRN member stations and Board member elections.

Monthly and annual meeting dates and times are announced on air beginning at least three days prior to the meeting date.

NOTE: In addition to the APTI Board, there is a separate APRN advisory Board. It’s called the APRN News Board and is discussed at the APRN and APTI web sites.
