Addressing Alaskans: Oil Spill Commission Report and the Implications for Future Offshore Oil Development

University of Alaska Anchorage Chancellor, Fran Ulmer was one of seven people appointed by President Obama to serve on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Commission. The final report detailing the causes of the spill and recommendations to prevent future spills was presented to the President at the White House last week.  This week, Ulmer reviewed the Oil Spill Commission Report at the Alaska Marine Science Symposium held at the Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage.
