Mayor restricts “fill the boot” fundraiser

Yesterday afternoon Anchorage Mayor Dan Sullivan vetoed a newly passed ordinance that would have allowed on-duty city firefighters to take part in the annual Muscular Dystrophy’s Fill-the-Boot fundraiser.

I personally think that Mayor Sullivan is way out of line on this he is taking away from people that really need our help because of his own convictions this was started when his dad was in office and so is he telling us that his dad was wrong on allowing this event. I personally would never vote for him again on any office that he choose to run for.
