Special coverage shifts KSKA schedule

We’re changing around the KSKA schedule tonight to accommodate the Republican National Convention and Sarah Palin’s highly anticipated speech, currently expected to start at 6:30 PM. Here it is:
- 4:00 PM – All Things Considered, starts at the normal time, but will end one hour early to make room for some Alaska news from APRN
- 5:00 PM – Alaska News Nightly, broadcast LIVE
- 5:30 PM – Special Coverage (NPR News) from the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, before Palin takes the stage at 6:30, the former mayor of New York City, Rudy Guiliani is expected to speak. KSKA will join Special Coverage in progress.
- 7:30 PM - Marketplace
- 8:00 PM – Community Forum: Palin Media Mania! rebroadcast, recorded at 2:00 PM, Alaskans call-in with reactions to media coverage. Two journalism professors from UAA join Nellie Moore in the studio.
- 9:00 PM – Alternative Radio, Tahira Abdullah on “Pakistani Women”
- 10:00 PM - Marian McPartland’s Piano Jazz, the longest running show on KSKA, since 1978
- 11:00 PM – BBC News
