Professor of biology at UAA, Dr. Jocelyn Krebs discusses frogs and brewer’s yeast both “model organisms” she studies to better understand human developmental disorders. Using budding yeast as model at her lab in Anchorage, Krebs and her research team study DNA transactions within the context of chromatin and how ATP-dependent chromatin remodelers control development, using the frog. Today on Line One, we step inside the Krebs Lab.
