KSKA signal at low power

Posted in Engineering Updates
Since this morning we have been experiencing frequent drop outs in our analog radio signal. As of 10:05 AM KSKA’s main transmitter went off-air. Currently, we are utilizing a back-up transmitter at low power operation. Engineers are continuing to work at KSKA’s transmitter site in Goose Bay in order to restore our full signal strength. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for patience and thanks for staying with us. For listeners with HD radios, KSKA’s HD signal appears to have been restored as of 11:00 AM.

I am disapointed that you are off the air again today, like so many times in the past. Although your quality control has improved somewhat from what it was, it’s still substandard compared to any other station that I have ever listened to. Do you monitor how many times you are off the air, or how many times someone puts the wrong show on the air?
You talked about “mutual respect” wnen you were asking for more money at the end of the year. I think that should go both ways. You should show repect to your members by delivering a quality product, day in and day out…
Thanks
