Five Alaskan servicemen who have served in Iraq share their experiences from overseas and reveal what they call, “the other side of the story.” Major Marc Hoffmeister, Sergeant Kerry James, Captain Thomas Angstadt, Sergeant Jody Heffele and Major Joseph Lawendowski discuss the challenges they faced overseas, their relationship with Iraqi civilians and private security forces and their opinions on and US media coverage of the Iraq war.
