Assembly dismisses anti-illegal immigrant proposal

Last Tuesday night the Anchorage Assembly postponed indefinitely any consideration of a proposed ordinance to capture illegal immigrants in the area.  Those troubled by the proposal said it was unnecessary and divisive.
