    Hooray !
I love listening to Dr. Richard Nelson. He is informative and enthusiastic. Most of all I enjoy that sense of being “on-site” with all of the sounds of nature. I think I felt the spray of an orca when he encountered a pod out in a small skiff.

Encounters is absolutely the coolest radio show on the air! I love Richard Nelson — he’s joyful, knowledgeable, spiritual and eloquent! I’m not always able to listen at air-time, so I’m wondering about “pod-casting” of Encounters — I would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to download and hear it at my leisure.

Barbara — Unfortunately, Encounters remains a radio-only program. The producers have yet to offer the program in an online form. The do have a web site, however, which is new. You can find it here…

We just started carrying Encouters on KDLG Dilliingham, Alaska and I enjoy it a lot. I’m listening to his Porcupine Caribou herd piece as I write. Is Richard taping more shows now? I’d love for him to come to Bristol Bay and do some shows.

We have big concerns with mines and oil and gas development planned and his programs could be important to helping people appreciate what we have now.
