I have to take issue with the caller who characterized the providing of native health care as “free.” THe US government has entered agreements and signed treaties with the various Indigenous peoples who are citizens of a sovereign nations to provide these services. The health care that I receive as a citizen of the Cherokee nation is wonderful in Alaska. It’s hit and miss elswhere.
