After being the columnist most likely to offer comment on the state legislature, Doogan now finds himself on the other side of the journalistic fence — and at a rocky time in Alaska history. Corruption charges have been leveled against some of his colleagues, while at the same time lawmakers are trying to pave the way for a major gas pipeline construction project.
